HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce its May calendar of events focused on celebrating business milestones and strengthening collaboration across the local business community.

Friday, May 8

Neighborgall 100th Business Birthday

The Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a 100th Business Birthday celebration honoring Neighborgall Construction on Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m. at its home office, 1216 7th Avenue in Huntington. The event will recognize the company’s century-long legacy of delivering high-quality construction services and building lasting relationships across the region. All community members are welcome to attend. No registration is required.

May Lunch & Learn with Branches Domestic Violence Shelter

The Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce will present its May Lunch & Learn, “Employ & Empower,” with Branches Domestic Violence Shelter at 703 Seventh Avenue, offering workplace leaders and HR professionals hands-on guidance for recognizing domestic violence and creating safer, more trauma-responsive workplaces. A $15 no-show fee will apply to registrants who do not attend and do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance.

The Balanced Professional with Huntington Young Professionals

Huntington Young Professionals will bring together young professionals for an evening of movement and connection, beginning with an outdoor yoga flow led by BDY Studios and concluding with networking at Taps. The 21+ event encourages attendees to recharge and build relationships in a welcoming, community-focused environment.

May Nonprofit Roundtable 

The Nonprofit Roundtable will feature the Foundation for the Tri-State Community with Kathryn Lamp. David Michael, executive director and CEO of Habitat for Humanity and a board member of the West Virginia Nonprofit Association, will present “All About the WVNPA,” offering an overview of the organization and its resources for nonprofits. Attendees also will participate in a roundtable discussion on collaboration and partnerships among service providers, led by Sara Blevins O’Toole of Branches Domestic Violence Shelter.

Business Birthday: Graphic Solutions  

The Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a 25th Business Birthday celebration honoring Graphic Solutions, recognizing 25 years of providing high-quality design, print, and branding services to the region. The milestone highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to creativity, innovation, and community impact. All community members are welcome to attend. No registration is required.

Tuesday, May 19: 

Women’s Impact Network Panel: Building a Positive Team Culture 

The Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Impact Network will bring together regional leaders Juli Fulks, coach of the Marshall University Women’s Basketball team; Angie Swearingen, President of St. Mary’s Medical Center; and Megan Archer, President & CEO of the Huntington Regional Chamber, for a panel discussion on cultivating positive team culture. Attendees will gain actionable insights on motivation, accountability, and leading high-performing teams in today’s workplace. T

 

This event is free for Chamber members and $15 for non-members. Lunch will be provided courtesy of Kirtley Insurance. 

 

Registration is required. If you register, but cannot attend, please email chamber@huntingtonchamber.org at least 24 hours before the event date so you are not charged a $15 no-show fee.

Business After Hours with Marshall University’s Memorial Student Center

The Huntington Regional Chamber will host its monthly Business After Hours, a signature networking event for business leaders in the Tri-State. The event will take place at the University’s Memorial Student Center with catering provided by Sodexo . Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the facility’s event spaces and win door prizes including Marshall swag and gift cards. The cost is $15 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members.

Business Birthday: Junior League of Huntington Period Pantry Ribbon Cutting

The Huntington Regional Chamber will celebrate the grand opening of the Junior League of Huntington’s Period Pantry with a ribbon-cutting event, recognizing a new community resource aimed at improving access to essential menstrual products. The event will be held in collaboration with United Way of the River Cities and Cabell County Public Library.
