Jimmy will also open the floor for a live website or social media audit—so come ready with questions and be brave enough to have your online presence critiqued!

State of the Valley

The State of the Valley, presented by Meeks Rentals & Leasing, returns for its third year as a joint effort by the Charleston Regional, Huntington Regional, and Putnam County Chambers of Commerce. This regional event brings together business, government, and civic leaders to explore economic challenges, workforce needs, infrastructure, and quality-of-life priorities. With a focus on cross-county collaboration, the event encourages dialogue and action to support a stronger, more connected Valley.

August Business After Hours

Guyan Golf & Country Club will host the August Business After at Meg’s Place, the club’s cabana bar by the pool. Attendees will enjoy food, drinks and the opportunity to network with business and community leaders in a relaxed, outdoor setting.

The cost is $15 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members.

Nonprofit Roundtable Presents AI Workshop for Nonprofits

Join us for a free, full-day workshop hosted by the Huntington Regional Chamber’s Nonprofit Roundtable. Josh Hirsch, a leading expert in nonprofit strategy, will present on “Leveraging AI and Technology” in the morning. In the afternoon, Ariana Shives of TechConnect West Virginia will lead a session on “AI and Other Technology for Local Nonprofits.” Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all registered attendees. The workshop is open to all nonprofit staff and board members in the Tri-State region. A $15 no-show fee will apply. Prestera Ribbon Cutting

Prestera Health Services, the largest nonprofit behavioral health provider in West Virginia, will celebrate the opening of a new children’s building in Wayne County, West Virginia. This facility, located in the heart of Wayne, is specifically designed to serve the unique behavioral health needs of children and adolescents in the area. It offers outpatient counseling, trauma-informed therapy, crisis intervention, telehealth options, and family support services, all in a welcoming and youth-centered environment.
