Owner and founder Becca (Rebecca Thomas) began her journey long before opening the storefront in 2020. What started as a vending and pop-up business at music and arts festivals, originally called Becca’s Treasures, eventually evolved into True Soul Boutique.

“The store got started back in 2020 brick and mortar. Before then I started out as a vending business, pop-up business, and we did music and arts festivals,” Becca explained.

Now in 2026, the boutique is known for its playful yet polished style.

“I would describe True Soul as fun, playful, chic clothing, where I curate a one-of-a-kind collection for my clients, and then they get to style it with their specific style,” Becca said. “We are just all about fun, but still classy, chic, a little feminine.”

That individuality is truly the heart of True Soul Boutique.

“I have a really fun time picking out all the pieces, and then I love to see how they style it themselves,” she said.

True Soul Boutique is also deeply rooted in the Huntington community. Having grown up in the area, Becca says the sense of belonging is what makes it special.

“When you walk in anywhere, you will feel like home. You know everybody,” she said.

That support carries into the local business scene as well.

“We don’t gatekeep…we say go here, eat, do this. We give them that rundown,” Becca said. “It’s community over competition.”

Choosing a location on Fourth Avenue was always a part of Becca’s vision, drawn to what she describes as the center of it all.

“I always wanted to be right on Fourth Avenue because I thought that was the heart of downtown,” she said.

That decision has paid off.

Since opening, True Soul Boutique has continued to grow, recently celebrating its five-year business birthday.

“The big win would be hitting that five-year mark,” she said. “We’ve had growth every year.”

As the boutique continues to evolve, Becca is especially excited about the upcoming season and the fresh styles it will bring.

“I’m really excited to bring in the dresses… the pinks, the yellows, the purples,” she said. “I just want to throw on a dress and go.”
