Sarah Frances Lyon – Office & Events Coordinator

Sarah brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her role as the Office and Events Coordinator for the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce. A proud alumna of Marshall University and Louisiana State University, Sarah spent a decade in Higher Education, specializing in Housing and Residence Life, where she developed strong skills in organization, leadership, and community building.

Following her career in Higher Education, Sarah ventured into the non-profit and entrepreneurship sectors, gaining valuable insights into business management, customer engagement, and grant management. This experience has honed her abilities in strategic planning and community outreach, which she now applies in her role at the Chamber.

Her dedication to creating impactful experiences led her to serve as a Chamber ambassador. Additionally, she was part of the inaugural class of Leadership Huntington and the Generation West Virginia fellowship, which highlights her commitment to leadership and community development.

Sarah is passionate about planning memorable events that leave a lasting impression. She strives to make every moment as a Chamber member a "wow" experience, driven by her belief in the power of connection and community. Drawing on her diverse experience and expertise, Sarah is poised to play a significant role in cultivating a vibrant and engaging environment at the Chamber, enhancing the experience for all its members.
