The MyHuntington movement has scheduled three community cleanup days in May after hosting two succes

The MyHuntington movement has scheduled three community cleanup days in May after hosting two successful cleanup events earlier this month:

9 a.m. Saturday, May 4: Volunteers will meet in the parking lot of Huntington City Hall. Areas to be cleaned up include 6th and 7th avenues from 1st to 8th streets and 8th Street from 5th Avenue to 7th avenues.

9 a.m. Saturday, May 11: Volunteers will meet at Children’s Place, 625 Richmond St., in Guyandotte. Areas to be cleaned up include the Paul Ambrose Trail for Health.

9 a.m. Saturday, May 18: Volunteers will meet in the parking lot of the A.D. Lewis Community Center, 1450 A.D. Lewis Ave. (next to White Way Cleaners on 10th Avenue). Areas to be cleaned up include Doulton and 10th avenues and Hal Greer Boulevard.

Litter sticks, gloves, and garbage bags will be provided at all three cleanups. For more information, follow the MyHuntington Facebook page.
