HUNTINGTON WV AREA HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
TO DEDICATE 110th HOME FOR LONG-TIME HIGHLAWN ELEMENTARY VOLUNTEER
Huntington WV Area Habitat for Humanity is excited to host its 110th dedication celebration for a local woman on Thursday, March 14. The celebration will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m., with a special ceremony with the students of Highlawn Elementary School beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the school’s gymnasium.
The house to be dedicated is located at 59 26th Street in Huntington, and is the future home of Pam Hunt. Ms. Hunt has been a dedicated volunteer at Highlawn Elementary for more than 25 years, and her new home is only a block from the school. Ms. Hunt has also volunteered more than the required 250 hours at Habitat and, to date, has volunteered more than 700 hours and has donated the excess hours to 4 future Habitat homebuyers.
