The Young Professionals Committee currently boasts over 150 members. Throughout the past year, the committee has developed many successful projects including the Geared for Success program which provides individuals with attire for job interviews, and the YPC: On Campus program, a partnership with the Marshall University Lewis College of Business which provides students with the opportunity to learn more about existing opportunities for young professionals in the regional business community.
The YPC has several subcommittees to address various projects and initiatives within the committee and community. You must be an active member of the YPC to join a subcommittee. These include:
MEMBERSHIP - The focus of the Membership subcommittee is to oversee the growth and development of YPC. This subcommittee now incorporates the YPC Ambassadors who assist new members with introductions and help them become more involved in YPC initiatives and activities.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT - The focus of the Community Development subcommittee is to support the YPC's mission of bettering our community by providing opportunities for service to our members.
COMMUNICATIONS - The focus of the Communications subcommittee is to ensure YPC projects and events are publicized and that the community is informed of important regional issues. This subcommittee now incorporates the Education subcommittee that provides educational opportunities and resources to members of the YPC and to support education initiatives in the community.
